Gurley is an elite running back and as with Goff, to blame Gurley for that mess last season is short sited in my opinion.

You put Gurley behind the Cowboy line last season and he is every bit as good as Elliot if not better. In fact I think Gurley is better then Elliot. Elliot is a good back but there is nothing special about him. If anything Elliot is Frank Gore all over again.

Think back to 2015 when Gurley was flashing is talents and think back to Gurley at Univ of Georgia.

Davis will get some playing time but he will not replace Gurley.

I know people say he's elite. I like McVay and am trying to defer to him right now when he describes Gurley as a great player.

But he's only had a handful of great games.

It's been two seasons. I don't think he's proven himself as elite at all.

One can hope this year he does...
