I truly believe that not later than the game after the bye that Davis will become the starter after Gurley looks again like 2016. Davis' running style is impressive. He can squeeze through small holes and make something out of nothing. Slick and slippery. A slasher. WAY quick; good enough speed (same as Faulk was in that department).

The thing I like is that McVay has no loyalty to Gurley (or Goff) for that matter. He's going to make changes if he can't get the production he wants and he thinks a no-name can do better. Davis can, and will, do better imo.
