The media has to choose a side and its easy to say the Rams are playing hardball. They left out a lot of info and it appears they are trying to make the Rams look bad.
One question I have is how will the league view the Rams "paying the man"? Wasn't TA in his 3rd/4th year when he got a new deal? Did they tear up his contract? Apples to apples the Rams may be offering Donald a staggering sum... we have no idea... but more of an idea than these guys I would imagine.
Anything in the Suh range is too much IMO but I am guessing it is considerably higher than that. What if the Rams paid him $26 million a year then they would say, stupid Rams paid too much, they should have held to their guns and NOT paid the man. screw 'em lol
