Since the issue is running versus throwing from the pocket, I must admit "drop back" to me is close to synonymous with "pocket passer". But, technically you are correct sir.

Wentz averaged 2.9 per game.

Tom Brady's career average is 2.2 and has many seasons 2.6+ and as high as 3.1

Aaron Rodgers career average is 3.5 with seasons over 4.

Phillip "statue" Rivers career average is only 1.8 but that still is only a 16 total rush attempt difference for the season. He also has a 3.0 attempt season.

Bottom line, Wentz isn't a "running QB". You are trying to sell him as an RG3 who averaged 6.5 and 8.0 as a rookie and it's simply not true

Except Goff basically NEVER dropped back, so your argument is flawed from the start

Flipper336184August 31, 2017 05:07AM

OK. Let's say Pocket Passer then.

RockRam146August 31, 2017 05:10AM

Fair. Then let's talk Rush attempts

Flipper336151August 31, 2017 05:29AM
