unqualified I am, for sure, having not following it closely... but when did the Rams say a 'holdout' would be ok? - JamesJM
The exact words were, if that was his decision, they would respect it.
I've quoted it more than once.

Snead adds if Donald decided to not report, it’s something the organization “has to respect.”

“I think you have to respect Aaron and his side, in that business move. It’s really all about respect. Yes, we’d love for him to be here. Hope he’s here. It would help if he were here.
But if he decides not to, then it’s a thing you have to respect.”
What they said is that if he sat out it was a decision they would respect.
Have we heard anything from anyone associated with the Rams taking that back, or diluting it, or reconsidering it, or anything like that?
The way I take it, it simply means the Rams will not turn any of this into a public relations issue or play any of this out in public.
Every time I bring this up, I am exact in saying what it is they said. Every time, people dispute it was said. Every time, I just re-provide the quotation.
