I watch McVay and listen to him on these things ... and there are echos of Gruden, certainly ... but also George Allen and Dick Vermeil.

His combination of knowledge and enthusiasm and the ability to teach ... is unique.

This has the potential to be a home-run hire by this franchise. A Giancarlo Stanton tape-measure type HR.
