I think the next couple of preseason games may be quite interesting for that very reason. Frankly there is enough 'new', IMHO, and this year, that I have no idea how Austin fits into all this. I know your feelings on it... I'm not so sure. And my 'ignorance' extends all the way from the possibility of being 'featured' to 'being phased out'. About the only confident feeling I have regarding Austin is that he will NOT be "the" go to guy... even though he will be occasionally used that way, obviously.

I doubt that at this time McVay is even sure of the overall strategy. I think it's a work in progress and decisions will be made right up to and including the season opener. - JamesJM
