Can't imagine they only keep 7 OL. Minimum 8 and probably 9. And I think Williams is much better at OT than he's being given credit for.
I can't see them keeping a combo of 4 RBs, 4 TEs and 7 WRs. I see 3 RBs plus a FB (Gurley, Brown, and Davis until they figure out the Dunbar situation). I see 6 WRs. I see 3 TEs . I think some big decisions are going to be made about whether to keep a 4th RB or a FB.
If they keep 3 TEs it should be Everett, Higbee and Harkey. Hemmingway to PS. Without Harkey they have no reliable blocking TE and Hemmingway has not shown much.
6 WRs is a lot; 7 is over the top. Considering how much the RBs and TEs will be involved in the passing game, there is simply no need for 7 WRs. I see them as Austin, Watson, Woods, Kupp, Reynolds and Cooper. Cooper is the bubble player. Thomas is currently concussed and then suspended for a month. I think the plan will be to see where we stand with our WRs when he comes off of suspension.
The D I think you're probably right although it's awfully dicey to go with only 4 CBs. I'd rather see 5 CBs.
McVay loves Hemingway, Rock. I think Hemmy sticks on the 53. Harkey? Maybe 50-50. I just dunno.
JJ can play either CB or S, so 9 in the secondary kinda makes sense to me.
You didn't mention 11 LB's. Are you okay with 11 LB's, even in a 3-4?
