In camp I watched him drop 3x in a row, and two of them were on-target throws in the endzone. A guy who is that big a target has to be able to bring down the jump balls and deal with guys being in his face but to my eye he doesn't look ready for that. Was disappointing to me given the hope I had for him to be that guy.

Everett surprised me the other way, hauling in a beautiful catch and keeping his feet in. This is all small sample size, granted, but at this point it looks like they really hit on Everett. Of the TEs he looks to me like the one that will be a redzone impact player, but of course he's a rookie so that's a risky assumption.

Woods should be a good threat in the endzone/redzone and so should Kupp. So again I'm not expecting a top 10 offense or anything, just a unit that can take advantage of field position flips and make the other team feel it.

Higbee has not convinced me. Not yet anyway. I don't see him in camp of course but any time he's on the field, the "it" is missing.

The issues with Washington redzone offense were multiple I think. It may have been Cousins, it may have been play design, it may have been the fact that (as an article in this thread attests) in 2016 Washington had a murderous schedule against particularly tough redzone defenses. If it;s the play design it doesn't matter who the players are. That is, this or that phenom TE is not going to make up for the play design not being effective.
