On the slant to the end zone watch the play in replay closely. Rams are lined up three receivers to the left. It's actually a pick play. Two receivers set the pick and Robert Woods slants underneath them both. Great play call but even greater job Kooper Cupp does selling his pick and make it look like he was running a pattern. His DB guarding him bites and clears space on the move and Kooper pushes off just enough to make it look like he was going out for a pass. It was excellent execution. Rams were horrible running pick plays last year. They either got called for a penalty or the receivers never followed through with the move. Kooper not only set the pick but then followed the play because he knew where the pass was going. Smart football player. That's why he was there to recover the fumble. He will be something special because of plays like this. This was a great play call by Mcvay and even better execution by the players! Can't wait to see more of this offense!
