Best case scenario should they lose him is what really amounts to an early 4th round pick.
But that case is really unlikely because if he stays healthy and has the kind of season that would get him that kind of deal, the Rams will pay to keep him. So, if he's great he's probably a Rams long term and that's good.
If he's not great and/or can't stay on the field, then the comp pick, if any, becomes pretty insignificant.
