I'm not opposed to the trade at all. I live in Buffalo Bill territory so I watch them a lot whether I want to or not. Sammy is good and can be great at times. Do I think he is Julio Jones? No. Maybe playing on grass field and in warmer weather could help. I know when the signed Woods, drafted Kupp, traded for Watkins tells me the cupboard was bare. So, how can you hate what could possibly be a good trade. They obviously invested a sh*tton in Goff, and to be honest you have to give him weapons to see what he can do. And if Sammy is a one year rental to tell us yes or even no on Goff, that's really what I am most interested in. So, from that standpoint, I don't see how you can look at it as a bad trade.
From the Bills perspective they like it. They know it's a bite the bullet season, but sometimes you need to have those to rise near the top. Everyone of my friends are excited and most ask me about EJ Gaines. I tell them he's pretty feisty and pretty dam good and will compete to start. When I tell them that, they are pretty happy also.
I think it was a smart trade for both teams.
