agree, but......

This is quite normal for teams to do this in the first preseason game...some teams don't even play the starters in game one.

Four preseason games is a lot and I can see why coaches don't want their star players out there going against 2nd and 3rd teamers trying to make a name for themselves.


It's not worth risking injury over.


He'll prolly ramp up the action for the starters as the games go on.... Like pretty much every team does these days.
