How did you get the free movie channels?
My bill after all of yesterday's discounts will be $82.27 for the next 12 months. Not too shabby!
PS I love both Hallmark channels as much as my wife, especially around Christmas and yes we just dvr'd all their Christmas in July movies the past 2 weeks!

The 3 months of free premium movie channels was because I was treated as a new customer, RFIP. Even though I had been gone only 4 months. BTW, they upgraded my dish (never removed upon cancellation) at no charge, too. Plus the 4K Genie was reinstalled at no charge, of course.
Incidentally, this is my new regular price. There are no scheduled Direct rate increases after 12 months as was the case with Spectrum.
My Direct bill is currently $72.28 per month. That is not a typo. Lol.
Includes free ST Max and all 4 premium movie channels for first 3 months. Even includes a special package of 5 channels that costs $5 per month because my wife just loves the Hallmark Mystery Movie channel. For those of us that are married, no explanation is necessary.
It's their "Choice" package for new customers.
I plan to drop the movie channels after the first 3 months because we really don't use them all that much, anyway. If HBO has finished Game of Thrones, that is (the wife again). Streaming newer movies is better, at least for us.
I expect to negotiate the free ST each year in the future as I have every year in the past.
I love DirectTV!
Some unsolicited free advice. Do NOT be tempted by Spectrum offers you may see on TV. As I was. You will not be happy with their hardware technology or overall user interface. Trust me on this one. I could list at least 15 very irritating Spectrum disadvantages vs Direct without breaking a sweat.
