So while I agree that we just differ on this, I don't think your particular argument on the rightness of him staying away holds water.
Well that's certainly one opinion.
Mine is that he is probably holding out because here he is on the verge of a once in a lifetime contract and that all gets ruined if he is injured before the deal is signed.
Easley would probably be a reminder of that. Easley's injury was non-contact. A reminder that stepping on to the field in itself can result in injury.
