Hope I can chime In on the difference between those two (Everett and Engram ).
First off the TE class this draft was superior.. Howard Njoku, Engram all being legit top 30 talents so you have to start there.
Everett was probably universally rated as a late second mid third so where he was selected by our team was right in the wheelhouse/ strike zone.
Now the big differences between Everett and Engram in my mind are Everett lesser competition vs Engrams SEC experience and Engrams superior Speed (4,4 ) at close to exact same size if maybe five pounds heavier than Everett.
Funny thing though..
I think. Everrett maybe is a bit more fluid running and in his breaks. .
Engram however can take it and go all the way in a gap.
They can both be match up problems Oman to man or zone.
Engram is clearly the home run hitter of the two but Everett is totally competent short intermediate and up the sideline and a great fit for our offence.
NNot sure if they have greater or less hands than the other so I'd give them both even scores there.
Vertss are both in the 36~38 range so both can go up and get it Actually Everett got 37.5 to Engrams 36.
Not that far away from each other overall really.
I don't know if they used Engram speed streaking down the sidelines at Ole Miss? ??.
I think he probably has a bit more growth in him to be fair in reporting and not such homer pro Everett who can still get deep with 4.6 time and good agility .
