that they don't have a Julio Jones or a Larry Fitzgerald (in his prime) or an Odell.
There isn't any WR on this roster yet that is going to keep DC's up at night wondering how they can stop him.
So I agree with the writer on all his points, and how refreshing to read a national guy who actually seems to know what's going on with the Rams in detail.
Can Goff to Woods, Kupp, etc become a pleasant surprise? Yes, that is possible and I HOPE it happens.
But you can't expect a national writer to share your unhatched-chicken-counting projections of greatness for guys who haven't even played a preseason game for us yet.
I think Woods is the best WR on the roster, but he's still a poor mans Isaac Bruce. I predict 60-70 receptions for 900 yards 6-7 TD's if he plays all 16. Kupp should finish 2nd in overall WR receptions and TA should be 3rd, but he'll have almost as many rushing yards to boot. TA is the closest player on offense the Rams have to be considered a "mismatch", but he's still no sub 4.4 guy that DC's lose sleep over.
BTW, I agree with everything you said.
