What I find interesting is that half the voters think Demoff should go.
But I think you're right in that he's probably untouchable.
That's the problem, IMO. Demoff is not good at football decisions, and we're stuck with him.
That's the thing, max. Demoff isn't the one that makes "football decisions". At least as pertains to player personnel.
Let's see...
He hired Fisher. Seemed like a good hire at the time. History tells us that it wasn't.
He (and Fisher) hired Snead. I think that Snead has done an above average job of evaluating talent, even though hampered by Fisher and his player profile restrictions. This last Fisher-free draft and FA period looks really good so far, for example.
He hired McVay. That's looking like a HR hire at this point.
He manages the cap beautifully.
The Move was handled smoothly. No small thing.
PR relations are a Demoff strong point.
Here's the crux of our differences of opinion...
Demoff re-signs or waives players per Snead/HC requests, if he can. He does exercise reasonable parameters for salary ceilings, of course. I lay approx 80% of the errors on bad picks and FA's at the feet of Fisher. Combo of bad player selection and poor player development.
I think Demoff handles his job responsibilities just fine. Upper echelon in the league, actually.
