Anyhoo....Lyons was ranked 22nd best DE coming out of 2015 Draft by draftscout.com.....a tad higher than the DE Fisher picked out of Memphis, one Martin Ifedi with Los Ramos #227 of the 2015 Draft. Lyons was UDFA with Tampa Bay, cut at 53-roster time, and Steelers picked him up on waivers....been bouncing around Steelers PS on & off ever since.
So...4.86 forty time at ProDay and 24 reps of 225lbs. IMHO, Lyons cannot be a total softy if Steelers kept him around.
