Problem with that argument, old friend, is that the team agrees with him.
This is not a case where a guy under contract just holds out for more to coerce a reluctant team. Both the Rams and Donald agree he is underpaid and that he needs an extension. It's mutual. Snead has even said
"I think you have to respect Aaron and his side in that business move. It is really at that point all about respect. And yes, we would love for him to be here, we hope he is here, it would help if he is here, but if he decides not to then it is a thing that you have to respect from their group.”This is very different from how the Rams reacted to Faulk when he held out, or Warner when it looked like he might hold out, or Pace when he did hold out. Then, the team was resistant to the hold out (or potential hold out) and it showed.
