Gurley went from 4.8 ypc to 3.2 ypc.
Bettis went from 4.9 ypc to 3.2 ypc.

The reason Bettis had more yards than Gurley in year two is simple: more carries.

So...Gurley's drop is not unprecedented, nor does it mean he won't turn things around (Bettis obviously did).
