I listen to the coaches and other players and how they talk about the guy and I see the success he had in college even if it was not a pro-style offense.
Oregon was not a pro-style offense either but you all seem sold on Marriota. BTW Marriota struggled as well.
You have to take many things into account when talking about Goff.
Coaching
Offensive system
Success of the players around him on offense
success of the coaches coaching him.
He's a rookie making the jump to the pros.
I didn't expect Goff to walk on Water or be our savior the second he stepped onto a profootball field in a NFL game.
To me he now has a legitimate offensive coach and coaching staff around him and they all like what they see of him and
say so. McVay had Cousins in DC and he likes Goff.
Cousins is a good QB from what I've seen but I don't know that he's worth elite franchise money.
Goff was drafted number one over all and every pro talent evaluator who speaks of Goff says he can make all the throws and has a big league arm.
I say you give Goff at least two more years.
