There's no denying he was their most productive WR the past 3 years (16.0 YPC and 2X as many yards as Austin) and he had some very good games- @Detroit last year was probably his best. 1,000 yards is 1,000 yards. But I do also believe they won't really miss him and it was right to let him go. He lacks the intangibles you want from a veteran and not a cultural fit for what McVay wants. Plus the much more complex scheme required some heady receivers (ie Woods and Kupp). Their passing game as a team can and should be noticeably better than 2016 (how can it not...) even while probably not having a 1,000 (or even 900) yard receiver.
I also just can't shake that image of Britt and Quick flipping the golf cart on Hard Knocks and then smiling about it after like the guy in Stripes being told there isn't a draft anymore....
