So this is just a few thoughts on the little I do know about storing photos:
I currently use Smugmug... I'm not sure what their policies are because I have never linked to my photos there. Since we added the ability to upload and display photos on this site I always use that option OR - I simply link to a copyright free photo.
I was setting up my Firestick this last week and noticed a "photo" option... I haven't looked into it yet but I'm pretty sure that if you have Amazon Prime, (which I do), they allow unlimited storage for "free"... I put "free" in quotes because Amazon Prime is.. hmmmm, I think $100 per year? I did not get Amazon Prime for photos - lots of other reasons, (been a prime subscriber for some time now).... but the added benefit of unlimited storage.. if I'm reading them right... is something I WILL look into and perhaps drop Smugmug.
I'm not fond of using Google or Amazon anything because they are so intrusive... tracking you, targeting you, BUT they are way ahead of the game in services offered and many of them very convenient.
