But we have no idea how much time he spent gameplanning...you just saw 6 hours of the several hundred they filmed. That;s not insight into Wms., that's insight into the editors and producer.

My view of Wms cursing is this. It's common among coaches. You can hear Hanifan do it for example in old tapes. Martz too btw was a screamer and berater. I personally don't find any armchair psychology take on coaches based on something like that to be all that useful. It just reads as being more the mindset of the critic, who prefers things a certain way, and not real insight into the coaches. That is there's nothing wrong with opinions like that obviously but not all of us get something out of them.

Wms had at least 6 top ten defenses in the NFL which is an accomplishment. Last year his defense unraveled as the injuries mounted up. He's gone and I like Phillips too, even though he's a verbal choirboy. And I promise not to hold that against him. cool smiley
