i know there has been some debate on this and maybe you are correct but i think easly is backing up AD (although i guess there could be packages with them both on the field). IMO they play the same position. in the base defense i think wade wants a bigger longer player to set the edge. i think thats what they brought in walker for. i played that position in NO with Bill Johnson.
anyway...thats why i was curious how they lined up in minicamp....
and ive been wondering about longacre and fox too. imo, longacre looks like an olb in a 3-4. i just wonder about his speed.

Good question. I've wondered the same. But pretty sure Easley is the other main DE. I sort of assumed Donald would play some RDE and LDE situationally (as he played left and right DT) but maybe not.
I've also wondered if Phillips is going to use Longacre and Fox as DEs or OLBs. Fox is smaller so he may be in the OLB group.
