When the only team your guys can practice against is your own team, everything needs to be taken with a grain of salt. A dominant offense could merely indicate a helpless defense, and vice versa.
However, you do point out how the defense was capable last year, and I do recall the secondary was no slouch despite the sputtering offense.
SO IF we assume that the pass D is still firing on all cylinders, I agree that our pass offense is definitely improving.
Let's not forget a few years ago though, where the story was how well-improved the Rams O-line was, and then the D-line starts with zero sacks over like 5 or 6 games. *cringe*
