We have great coaches but Kupp looks like a receiving prodigy in terms of understanding the position. He is on the field and may be able to see things a bit more clearly than the coaches.
Kupp is super respectful and I am sure that the conversations are all focused on maximizing performance. When you are united and focused on the end goal you can intelligent 2 way conversation without egos getting involved that are purely focused on accomplishing the end goal. McVay has brought that mentality to the team.
At the end of the day Kupp is a great pick and just the type of guy that McVay wants in his system. Right place at right time, gets open and catches that ball.
