I wouldn't put all my eggs in 1 basket. IMO as long as we get a solid QB rolling is all I care about. Be it Goff or Mannion.....It would be a surprise if Mannion shows up only because he has done nothing yet. If he indeed does show promise it just shows me that the late regime didn't know squat about development. (Which I already have considered to be very possible across the entire roster outside of D-line).....if indeed Mannion shows up big time then it could be said that we wasted picks getting Goff....but that doesn't matter now.
Mannion/Goff.....let the better win the spot.....if Mannion can become a real solid backup that can be just as valuable IMO......it would still show the weakness of the last staff.
