You guys remember that last drive. When McNair broke from Carter earlier, I almost dropped my 1 year old Son while his Mom was getting his bottle ready. During the time out, it was just me...standing 4 feet from my TV. We had a Superbowl party but everyone had left by then. As the ball was snapped, I had NO feeling. I could not say anything. I could not swallow. When Dyson caught the ball, I just knew he'd have enough momentum to squeak in. BUT NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Here's the funny part. Since I was a kid, I had always said I would run down the street screaming and raising hell, if the Rams ever won the big one. So what happen when they do? All I could do for about a solid two minutes was take a knee about 6 feet from the TV. I was speechless. It happened but was it real?? The first thing I felt was exhaustion, mostly mentally. It took a good 2-3 minutes before it REALLY hit. Then I started pacing. My Brother called to congratulate me. From that point on, I had a smile on my face for the next week! After the post game, I was on QVC getting Rams Super Bowl Champs.........EVERYTHING!!! My favorite is the team plaque. LOL I keep my Ram car flags up till late March!
