Started rooting for the Rams in 1966/1967, but the 1967 season was the first one I was really fired up for as a kid. Can't believe they didn't take home the trophy. At least at the time, in my little kid eyes, no one could stop them, especially their defense. They dominated, until the playoffs. And then it seemed they were cursed to lose in the playoffs throughout their long, competitive run.
Until 1999/2000.
Truth be told, though, I think they had better teams back in the late 1960s and 1970s, with exceptions here and there. They just lacked . . . .
