if the coaching change was the 'right' one... I do believe, wholeheartedly, that it was not just the 'needed' one but it was essential.
So far I have no complaints... it's gone well, better than expected I would say.... McVay didn't inherit an enviable draft position. I have reviewed only Everett, Kupp, and Reynolds so far - seems to me one of their best characteristics is being 'turn key'... with the obvious learning curve ahead, and the expected rookie mistakes... I think each can contribute THIS year. "Small School" doesn't bother me much at all.
The 'positive and upbeat quotes' from players and coaches and FO alike are to be expected... BUT... sure seems to me there are more of them this year, as compared to the last few... AND... they seem more heartfelt, sincere.
