Agree. I'm not getting caught on pie in the sky stuff any more, no matter who the coach is. Especially with a team of offensive players who's CEILING is "good" not "great" not withstanding the perverbial needle in a haystack. And THE ENTIRE offense, players and coaches have a LONG way to go before their good...

As anyone who has read my posts of late would recognize, I am trying to keep a pretty neutral stance. I don't think we know enough to do much more.
But I really would caution against getting too excited about our WR/TEs until we see them on the field. Last year there was a lot of hype about our multiple picks, including an apparent stud TE. Not much came of all of that.
I know, I know. All sorts of reasons for that, including an inept coaching staff. But, still, we really, honestly don't know. We got these guys in later rounds. Usually, WR/TEs in later rounds aren't picked earlier for good reasons.
Now, I do think there's reason for hope. Really. There are some authentically hopeful signs emerging.
But there are also a lot of reasons to beware. Our HC is a very young rookie and our WR/TE talent is incredibly young. I dunno, man ...
