I was in touch with Kevin Demoff, sharing my version of the 2017 - 2018 uniform & helmet ideas. He said again that NFL rules prohibit the jersey change of any kind. He didn't comment on the helmet. At least we know that he has seen the difference portrayed in the helmet drawing below.
