That no one got open? That no one drove the DBs and LBs off the LOS? That the offense was utterly predictable and easy for the defenses to read? And on and on.
The problems you cite were real. The causes were multiple and not restricted to the OL. And solutions can involve factors other than the OL.
Though I give more of the blame to the O-Line than you probably do, I will not argue with your sensible view and I agree with the thesis of what you mentioned in your post.
