......he plays faster than he times in a 40.
Kupp caught a lot of attention in Alabama with his speed. He may have run just a 4.62-second forty at the combine, but he was clocked at a hair under 21 mph at the Senior Bowl with wearable GPS technology.
Kupp was among the fastest players recorded in Mobile which helped earn him a private workout with the Rams.

EWU receiver Cooper Kupp has been the fastest player for the North Team (20.7 mph max velocity) via @CatapultSports and @RosterWatch
Confirms what I saw in the Kupp highlights I looked at.....he looked pretty fast to me....he was running away from people in a few cases.
His "speed" is what made him last until the 3rd round.....if it's truly a track issue and not a playing speed issue, then he could be a star, with all all his other good attributes.
That right there was one of them "juicy tidbits" that I was referring to, RamBill.
Good catch, man.
21 mph? Maybe in short bursts and/or after initial acceleration--for a stretch. One calculation I read would have 21 mph be equivalent to a 4.3 40. Chris Johnson's 4.24 40 would translate to about 22 mph.
