The "football" becoming secondary to the "show."
Sure, it may help expand the appeal to "fans" who wouldn't be there if it were just football, but it runs the risk of driving the fans that are there for the football away.
Watching the "show" on TV is getting difficult enough to enjoy and get the content out of that I'm interested in. Can't imagine how bad it must be in person. I wouldn't go because I want the football info, not all the other stuff that's getting in the way.
