Kromer is not the GM.

You appear comforted by the possibility that the OL coach is doing the GM's job for him.

As I mentioned in another post, coaches often have extreme overconfidence in their abilities coach up anything and anybody. It comes with the territory. Bill Belichick for all the flak he gets for his ego is amazingly self aware, which is why he's one of the rare coaches who can both shop for the groceries and do the cooking with amazing success. Most can't and that's why GM's are the norm and Bill Belichicks are the exception.

The only reason Snead can get away with these kinds of self incriminating comments is because so many people swallow what he's saying without actually thinking twice about what he's actually saying. It's his job, not Kromer's, to make sure HIS roster has the players on it that the team and it's young franchise QB, needs to succeed.
