and I don't care to.

But I thought I would throw out a couple of thoughts:

Outside of OJ Howard, every TE in this draft is a project to some degree. Engram needs route work. Njoku was a HS WR and is still learning the TE position, Everett didn't play football until his senior year of HS, so he has some work, but has come a long way in a short time. I can go on and on. As far as TEs and blocking, every TE in college needs to improve blocking for the NFL. Last years top blocking TE, David Morgan from UTSA, is sitting on the Vikings bench still working to get playing time and they don't have a legit blocking TE on their roster. Is Everett a bit of a project? yeah, but if you needed a TE you were going to get a bit of a project.

Kupp is the furthest thing from a project. A route running technician that knows all the tricks already. But he is limited physically. Thats the thing about the draft. Outside of say 10-20 picks every year, you are sacrificing something. Everyone has a hole.

John Johnson isn't a project as much as he is a combo CB/FS. I think he could step into the starting lineup at any point this season. I have a feeling he could be used all over and often but not start.

Ebukam is a project, but you cannot teach his athleticism. He can be a ST demon and learn behind barwin and Quinn. I have no issues taking a chance on a player that is intelligent, hard working and is a freak athlete. I do have a problem if he is dumb as a bag of sand, or isn't a hard worker.

Reynolds is fairly polished. I mentioned he has a limited route tree. Thats not to say he cannot run routes, its that T A&M didn't ask him to.

Overall, I think they could have done better in certain areas, and if your argument is that they should have taken Zay Jones instead of Everett then that is a legit argument although Jones would have been a reach @37 as well.
