so lets assume mcvay want to re-create the redskins offense. probably a fair assumption. they went out and got woods for a reason. i could be wrong but i think he has similar qualities to garcon. TA i think plays the jamison crowder role as they are also similar players. so who plays the jackon deep threat role? i dont see that go on the roster. i thought jones could but im wavering. godwin looks to have that skill set as does hansen and reynolds. kd cannon?
I would not presume to try to guess what McVay has in mind, PHD.
But one thing does occur to me. McVay simply made the best of the players he had to work with in Washington. Meaning, what if he actually would prefer a slightly different type of mix now that he has the opportunity and is in charge? IOW, we just might see him thinking and strategizing outside his Washington "box" now. McVay is very imaginative, so we might be surprised by his selection preferences.
If true, who knows exactly what type of WR's he's targeting?
Another thing. His targeting of WR's and TE's could go well into rounds 3-5. An extension of his possible outside the box thinking.
My expectation is that S&M will go for best value at #37. Could be OL, LB, CB, S, or ??? Just depends on who is sitting there. So, by process of elimination, probably not gonna be WR or TE.
Just spitballin' here, of course. I think today is gonna be not only fun and interesting, but it will give us some clues as to McVay's thinking.
