Now, I'm going by what guys who seem to know say (like you), but I gotta believe that D players are going to bring huge value in the first half of round 2. When you know that 3 QBs and 3 OTs will go 1st round; at least a couple of WRs; no doubt OJ Howard and probably 2 RBs, there's 11 offensive guys right there. No way Njoku slips to the 2nd I suspect one of the interior Oline guys will go, and then some offensive surprise. So if there are, say 23-25 D players with first round grades, at least a half dozen of them will be there at 37. I doubt that there will be any O players with first round grades at 37.....unless someone like Njoku or Ross falls.
I can't find too many scenarios as I look at the mocks where the Rams land an O player at 37. They need secondary depth; the TruJ deal is iffy. And they probably need a starting FS.
Of course, we have no idea how McVay and Snead are grading the players and exactly what McVay wants and who fits.
I think signing Sullivan was key. They don't have to spend even a 5th on a Center since they have their starter.
They also have no depth at Edge Rusher and someone like TJ Watt could easily be there at 37.
It is very unpredictable in my book.
