Samuel needs coaching/patience

Wow I really hope he falls to the 4th or 5th but yeah he gets more love of most others than you're giving: ).
He'd work as a third down back/reciever.
Samuel might even surpass Dunbar in camp.

He's often the most explosive player on the field...I want that on my team and I have made the mistake of expecting "NFL coaching" to be able to develop a talent like his. The problem I'm finding is that it requires patience and without patience the player falls into a sort of player purgatory. Somewhere between a WR and a RB and at the end of the process just a guy that flashes greatness but is more frustration. Coaches seem to just throw the player out there in a variety of roles and expect "just getting the ball in his hands" is enough because it was in college. You need technique in the NFL, even if you are still the most explosive player on the field.

Coaches need to develop PART of his game first. Does he provide more value as a RB or WR? Pick one...and develop him there first. When comfortable (maybe not until NEXT years training camp) with that part of his game, add the other. Not saying you shouldn't throw in the occasional wrinkle play at the other position, just that he shouldn't be in the WR meeting room if he's not completely comfortable in the RB meeting room yet (or vice versa). Obviously the timetable is very different for each player, maybe Samuel is doing both comfortably game one.
