He is definitely going to be. Taken before the end of round 3. Top speed might be average but he looks like one of those types you could go to when you need that third down or red zone conversion.
His dad played for the Rams. ;I've mentioned a John Jefferson comparison before. .meaning a athletic catch radius.
So many WRs will carry a fairly equivalent grade in this draft between 40and 120 on the big board is a blessing for us needwise.
We will need to decide how they will individually project into the offence above all I think
We may not see a' Size guy' like Britt or Quick.
Smith-Schuster may be less favorable than we think for this reason unless hes also fitted into some of the routes they had for Jordan Reed maybe?.
A technician like Jones and some other 5~11 sneaky quick guys with hands might be selected around round 4 as good fits and the bigger names passed on entirely.
Jones is among the bigger names and had a great career and senior bowl but still doesn't have round one respect that I've heard . He would be a value at 69 though.
I'd take that.
Edit note~ quick recheck shows 4.45 forty speed. Book sez he doesn't exactly play up to that. ..but he does have that so 69 would be darn lucky to get him.
May go about 50.
