I agree the Rams don't need to dump him and that his salary isn't preventing them from signing remaining FAs or even extending Donald.
I can really see it either way. If they get a decent offer for him (2nd or high 3rd round pick) maybe they do trade him. If not he stays, comes off their books for 2018 and they get a 2019 3rd or 4th round comp pick for him.
I do think either way Webster has the inside track to start the other side with Joyner remaining in the slot.
And yes, IF Johnson is traded I don't think it's far fetched at all to have a CB drafted at 37 start.
