Rams are a very historically significant team for so many reasons: The color barrier, the gender barrier in ownership, sexual orientation not to mention the first team with logos on their helmets the first team to broadcast their away games .... The Rams have been very cutting edge but have been very poor in terms of marketing their history
It's hard to market that history when most millennials don't know what it's like not to have internet in their lives, let alone cell phones or television. If you told one about growing up without TV, actually having to dial a phone....that plugged into the wall, they'd probably just laugh and say "man, you're old". Forget about out houses! It's not that they should market their history better, they should market their history period.
The Rams did have many firsts and besides the ones you listed, there's first to hire a college scout, first to broadcast ALL games, they won the first NFL Championship Game broadcast coast to coast, they were the first to use computers as an organizational tool (jointly with Tex Schram and the Cowboys) and perhaps even more remarkable, first (and only) team to win Championships in 3 different cities.
