Now that you've mentioned Woody Strode I can say I've met the man although I might be saying RIP also.
He'd be at Ram Practices at Fullerton St back In 80s I guess.
He was basketball player size maybe 6-5 and sort of resembled Eddie George.
He was a well known Go to guy/ extra in I think a couple of Johnny Weismuller Tarzan Flicks and I think played the bodyguard slave to Edward G. Robinson's slimeball character in the 10 commandments: )
Yeah he would be the Terry Crews, who I've also met in Pasadena: ) ,of the 40's and 50'S Hollywood. As far as black body beautiful types.
Anyway it was cool to see him (Strode) there, still caring about his old team and still. Looking like he could move a sled a bit: )
