Youngest team in the league

March 16, 2017 01:08AM
One thing - and not the only thing - that always confused me about Fisher. Each year the Rams would be one of the youngest teams in the league, and Fisher would say this like it was a badge of pride. You could understand it in the first year or so of his regime, give the players time to grow into a team, but it never changed. And the Rams played undiciplined, inconsistent ball throughout his reign.

Why was 'youngest team in league' a good thing?

McVay & Phillips seems to see it as the negative it always was. Whitworth, bringing in Conor Barwin, Dunbar, trying to sign the Bills center. Veteran leadership.

Fisher did a lot of bemusing things.
