It's too early to decide who is better between Goff and Wentz. I actually like Goff, but I was sure that no matter who the Rams chose between the two, that it would be the other player who would be perceived to have the better year. Let's hope Goff is the real deal.
I don't think we need any debate about the choice of Greg Robinson instead of Khalil Mack, so I won't bother.
That leaves us to compare Tavon Austin and DeAndre Hopkins. Overall, Hopkins has been slightly more productive than Austin has. As a WR, it's not even close; Hopkins has been leagues better. Leagues. And, if one considers what the Rams had to give up to move into position to draft TA, the comparison looks even worse.
Lastly, ZN. I completely stand by my assertion that the Rams would have been better off with a case of beer than they have been with Brian Quick.
