We’ve been back and forth on this so I don’t expect my simple observations to follow to change anything.

But…you just used the words, “I wouldn’t score it…”

That kind of indicates that you have some ability to score things. Even the question in your post above demonstrates a level of football knowledge which suggests some validity should be given to your judgment. If PFF is using people like you to grade every play that is possible to grade, then clearly there is some value in their grades.

Secondly, it’s not possible to grade every play and they clearly state that. You bring up a good point. If you don’t know the line call and can’t possibly determine who’s responsible for whom, then maybe that play can’t be graded.
