can't avoid seeing Bucky Hodges. have no ram staff near him, but dang the club needs a tight end, and he sure and one would think it's just matter of time before the name at the podium is called.
and, of course, visits can be overrated. you have a player that has a "unique" personality or some off - on field issues, or even trying to get another team to think your snagging a player they covet. But the scouts at pro days often aren't about the top tier guys, it's the udfas, and late late round guys that Snead and company are scrutinizing.
the scouts can also ask high profile guys on a team about a less recognized player that they are gathering info on.
btw, the USC pro day is mid-week. JuJu kind of knows some of his value is tied to his timed runs that day. maybe times are overrated, but for me, it's also about dedication to improving your stock. not prepping for these events only lead to questions about whether you like the game at all in the first place.
